Yeah, we’re all used to him with long hair, but can you imagine how much his hair was “damaged” ? I mean, he dyes it, uses lots of hairspray and all that stuff, maybe it’s a good thing he cut it so short … I did the same thing about a year ago – I still wear it short

He pierced his nose a few months ago. And someone let us know he actually had it pierced before when he was still a teenagers.

I did hear and saw… But I don’t think his sexy is gone…And I know why he did it too. It’s to weed out the real fans from the fake fans. He did it to make the point that if you’re a true fan you shouldn’t just like them and care about them for their looks, it’s all about the music. He doesn’t care what “fans” think about him cutting his hair and if he lost fans because he cut his hair he doesn’t care one bit because they weren’t real fans. And I agree with him completely…it shouldn’t matter really what they look like because the music is the focus. I mean yeah it’s a bonus they they’re fucking ridiculously hot but that isn’t what they’re all about.

Andy, I think your hair was better long but WHO CARES!? He has obviously done it because so many people have started only liking Black Veil Brides for his looks. Hmm. The sweet feeling of indecisive contemplation. Personally, without any comparison to his previous cut, I like it. Comparing the present to the past not only depresses me but annoys me, and I try with my whole being to resist this, but I only annoy myself. I suppose once you become so dreadfully accustomed to something, you don’t really expect change, and when it happens, you are shocked. The idea noe dawns on me that this change was a statement. It was a very bold statement in my mind. I do not wish to sway your judgement by any means, I only say I am lead to believe that this sudden (not that sudden, actually [it is only a haircut]) change in appearance represents the growing urge in him to stray from the attention of crazy girls that feel the need to obsess over something to the point of repelling others. I think that anyone who does this is trying to change the norm of what is expected in his or her appearance and is making an attempt to… Oh, forget it. People over analyze such simple things. The idea that every single action a human being performs has some hidden purpose or works toward a secret goal (which originates with our “friends” psychologists) is preposturous. I mean, god. We’re only human. Some of the best of us sit in trailers on couches pasing gas while eating fatty chips and drinking Irn Bru. Really, please. It is a haircut. Can’t any person do something off of some wild impulse? It isn’t like that person is changing who he or she is. Just the way they look.

Thank you! It seems that all of my thoughts always take quite a while to explain. I just thought, you know, I might as well. I write novels, so it is a bit of a habit to have so much to say. I would rather explain my thoughts clearly than be misunderstood. Sorry about the mistakes. Oh, and I have come to the realization that people do change… Some people can’t. Some people, like me, need something to trigger that change (like a move to reside somewhere else, or a horrible father to make you see who you don’t want to be). And some people who have independent minds can change all by themself. But whatever. Change is good. We will always have the past, but need new things in the present. Nothing would happen at all if there was no change. I personally love the way I have changed, and think that if someone wants to be a certain way, why the heck should any one else give a rats behind? So the person turned out to be someone they wanted to be (other than a fangirl idol). Fangirls can look for someone who is truly a shallow person that only cares about the way he looks. Fangirls will have something real (or should I say really conceited) to worship, and the idols will get what they want. Everyone will be happy. Right? Everyone is eventually happier when true colors show, I think.
Heck, I could keep talking about this all day. I should really stop. I wasn’t planning on writing a mini-novel as a side project. All I’m saying is,- I hate summarizing. Scratch that.

You would generally think that a post like that would get more attention, but I would not be suprised if it didn’t… I am at times a bit of a pessimist, but it is better than being some other things (me falsely justifying a fault). Fan girls are annoying, I agree- they are the conditional lovers in the circle of life. i just found out who that josef guy is and NO WAY would andy ever look up to that. he may be changing, but i cant see that happeneing. there must be some of the old him in there somewhere!
I know, I didn’t mean he did. I doubt that any sane and morally justified person (notice I use “and”) could ever look up to such a cold heart. But thinking about what Andy “would” or “wouldn’t” like, I realize that no one knows but him… If you look into basic psychology (which is all theoretical, but) you learn that even being around a person for your entire life doesn’t mean you know them. It is a bit disturbing to some. The thought that this “Andy Biersack” could just be a face and a name. That the rock and roll addict could only be a persona of a brooding poet or starving artist or whoever is in there. Obviously Andy has a facade to put on for fans, but how much is the facade similar to the real person? Even the most devoted fangirls are only in love with what they think is, not necessairily what really is. It is interesting, but will surely drive you past the gate of sanity if thought about too much.
When you say there must be more of the old Andy in there somewhere, there may not be an old Andy. It could be a facade thrown away after confidence was gained. This could be the Andy that was in there somewhere. No one know but him. You wonder what the case is, but then you wonder if wondering was even worth the hassle…

I am die hard fan of the music. I have dreamed of long hair for years, even when i was toddler i cant remember liking short hair… almost kept it if it wasnt for my disgraced dad, i hate calling him that even. To see andies fabulous locks face the chop depresses me greatly though i am more for the music, so long as they dont change the music as well then i dont care too much… i dislike it still.
