Oh, and with this awesome site there is quite a chance that this army will dominate mother Earth… I am shocked to know that this whole kingdom of Black, Veily Bridesness is ruled by only the small number of two? Quite a dedication. I suppose two is the general number in a monarchy, hm? I like this place. Yes, scruffy, they are awesome, and to Jared Pitts, I agree. Maybe if the fans could devise some means of mind control, we could convert all of the non-believers- sorry, just one of my relatively Hitlarian moments coming through. I really should work on that. Yes, sara, I am happy to see the agreement that mainstreamed rock is stagnant and, well, uh (apparently so stagnant that I cannot gradp another word to help describe it)… I should hope to spread the word as it was spread to me by a magical Ninja (no, REALLY. I don’t joke about ninjas). My favorite song is Perfect Weapon, and not because when I held my iPod up to my cousin’s ear and played the song he nearly had an accident in his pants. He likes mainstreamed rock, and was a tad frightened (I dunno what he found to be so scary). Also, to me the screaming in the beginning of Perfect Weapon sounds more like, “RUN!” than “GO!”, go beig the prevalent one in most lyric pages.

I’ve been called “emo fag” a couple if times, but other than that I’m very fortunate in the fact that I don’t get bullied very often. I have friends that helped me brave this storm and set the world on fire <3 *or at least the world of my middle school* everybody at my school has a hella lot respect for everyone that goes there now, and remember sing loud, you hold the key. We're rebels and we're free. <3

Just wondering… How famous are the Black Veil Brides? Does anyone know? Because I know about them (which is a bit of a stupid and obvious comment on my part), and it seems that they are quite famous when you look them up on the internet, but at my school out of the 160 or so in my grade (small, I know) three people know them, including me. How do I know this? I do not for sure, but I am assuming so based on the social class I am in. Just to make it simple, I will break up the social classes in two (so basically there will be the rejects and the accepted). There are the – and I really hate this term, by the way – “popular” kids who like pop, dance, electronica and occasionally bland, soft, mainstreamed rock. Then there are the rejects who like any other random genre, like me (I like stuff from alternative metal to scream-o). Music interest is one of the key factors social butterflies use to come to the conclusion “should I ostracize, exclude, verbally torture and or bully this person?”, so basically I eliminated all of the popular (cringe, laugh) students from my “survey”, if you will. I asked around the “reject” group, which is like a huge disconnected group of students who remain virtually silent in order to preserve their well-being and creative thoughts without conforming to the tyranny of the accepted, and only two of the girls I asked reported hearing of them. One heard “Knives & Pens”, kind of liking it, but is more into artists like “Owl City”, which I dislike. Another said she liked my favorite song by BVB, but is more into artists like Chelsea Grin. The only other person who knew of the BVBs was the ninja I spoke of in one of my other posts… She is the person who told me about them! So I was wondering if any other members of the vast BVB Army who are school-aged or the BVB Army HQ representatives could give some insight on how well-known the band is. I am very curious.
It’s extremely hard for us to define popularity. I am no longer in school and haven’t been for a while, but a few friends of mine are still in high school and I know a lot of people here in Southern California know about them. Also, right after Set the World on Fire came out, BVB did signing in malls and they were CRAZY. I would say it was quite packed and each signing “sold out” or at least came really close. Also the band currently has 1,611,914 likes on facebook.

I read ” Lily, Eternal Poet’s “comment asking how famous the Black Veil Brides are. When I first read the question I was under the impression that I knew the answer, when on the Internet they seem so very famous. But looking around at the people in my class or grade in general, I was surprised to notice that the people around me really only liked the club or pop music that you hear on mainstream radio stations. No one I asked liked anything remotely out of the ordinary except for one or two Green Day fans, and the only person who had even heard of BVB was NOT a fan. When I told her that I liked black veil brides her reply was this: “You LIKE them!? They suck, they’re so screamo.” So I walked away feeling offended by her reply, hurt by the lack of BVB Army members in my school. And I’m still left wondering if I just have a school full of conformity and mainstream-kids or if BVB is not as famous as I thought they were. I anyone has a better idea of our fanbace’s size I would love to know… So yeah.
Dont worry about BVB not being so “mainstream…i know atleast a handful of people who atleast knownwho they are and have of that handful like bvb so yes they are getting more famous since they ARE making a new 3rd album according to the band…haha :b but ya sometimes iworry about them getting “TOO” famous….

I have been playing guitar since I was six my major inspirations were Eddie Van Halen Sammy Hagar and so on I am thirteen now and I discovered Black Veil Brides in 2010 and I have loved the dual lead guitar between Jinxx And Jake Pitts. Since then I have learned 16 of their songs and I’m still learning. Jake Pitts is the reason that I am still playing guitar today thank you Jake. BVB Army Forever!
Hey there I love BVB their the most coolest band out there. I feel lonely all the time. My parents both work and I just stay home. I have no real life friends cause of the way I dress and stuff. I was being bullied on Facebook it was very horrible. I feel like the people ignore me on their because they don’t wanna be bothered with me. I’m Emo I have people call me hurtful names and make fun of this awesome band that I truly adore.
I am the same way, i have little friends. We sit in the back of the class to our selves. Nobody likes us, they all spread rumors. my mom and my younger sister makes fun of the way i look. My sister is now in high school with me and she tells her friends about me. In the hallways i get dirty looks. I just keep telling my self one day everybody will know my name.
Black Veil Brides have changed my life for the better and, even though at school, many people bully me for being a fan of them, i just remember what Andy thanked us all for at Download, listening to what the fuck we want to, even if we get shit from other people. ( His words, not mine)

OMFG I have been a fan of BVB since they released the We Stitch These Wounds album. BVB have literally saved my life and helped me get through serious bullying. I was (and still am) bullied at school. I get called emo which I dont really care about but people abuse me for it. I have been shoved into lockers, had notes stuck on my back saying ‘corporal homo of the BVB army’ and I have been sent threatening messages. There is a lot more that has and is going on but I don’t want to bore you with it all. I just want to say a huge thanks to BVB for stopping me from cutting myself. I stopped this because of the song Knives and Pens. Its by far my favourite BVB song. So thanks Andy, Ash, Jake, Jinxx and CC. I love you all Xx

There currently isn’t an ‘Official’ membership. You being a fan makes you part of ‘the BVB army’. But there is a mailing list on their official site you should sign up for if you want

i friggen LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Black Veil Brides! a friend told me about them about a year ago, and i pretty much listen to there music 24/7. there music is like a devilish seraphic symphony to my ears. did i mention i have a very strong liking of them? and i am overjoyed that i get to see them in concert on July 9, which is 10 days before my birthday! i love this site, and will continue to visit. sorry if my comment is completely the opposite of terse, but i try to be as thorough as possible.
