Hey guys, if you’re in the LA area today make sure to stop by Forgotten Saints LA on Melrose to see the launch of Outlaw Clothing by Ashley Purdy. Ash is there doing a signing and the first 200 people get a pretty snazzy photograph. The instore launch is today March 30th, 2013 and the webstore launch is tomorrow March 31st, 2013.

Today is the last day to bid on items of Andy’s and Juliet’s that they have donated to Closets for Causes. They both have some really good causes they are trying to raise money for so help them out and get a little piece of your favorite vocalist and his beautiful lady vocalist (who does wonderful work in Automatic Loveletter). They have both donated pieces of clothing from their live shows and photoshoots. Juliet also donated some really pretty accessories as well as ready-to-be-worn, rock-and-roll clothing.
As a refresher, Andy is donating the proceeds from his auctions to “Running Wild In the Night”, a charity that helps at-risk and under-privelaged kids have a chance to learn music and create their own. This charity is founded by Nikki Sixx in partnership with Covenant House California which helps at-risk kids and under-privelaged kids, most of whom are on the streets. Juliet is donating what her auctions have raised to “Big Cat Rescue”, a sanctuary for big cats that have been abused, abandoned, retired or any other type of wronged. They house over 100 different big cats including lion, tigers (no bears, oh my!) bobcats, jaguars and various other species on it’s land.

Hey guys. Black Veil Brides have been nominated for Song of the Year with “In The End” and we, the fans, have been nominated for Most Dedicated Fans!!! Go and vote!!! There are also many other great nominees in the other categories.
And to give you guys a little motivation here’s a video BVB put up today as their video of the week!
As for the show itself, The Golden Gods Awards shows live May 2nd 2013 at Club Nokia in Downtown LA. Unfortunately tix are SOLD OUT but for all those without tickets they are also doing a live broadcast of the whole show on AXS TV!!! This is the first time that is ever happening. One of us watched last year when it was broadcast online and it was an event to see! Don’t miss it this year!

Rock and roll couple, Andy and Juliet, both join up with Closets for Causes to raise money for two of their favorite charities. This is what I found out about Closets for Causes through their site:
“Closets for Causes is a premiere cause-marketing agency dedicated to bridging the gap between style and philanthropy. We fundraise serious funds utilizing the eBay platform to liquidate client’s closet overflow. We generate celebrity buzz by integrating our campaigns with social media outreach, blogs, viral videos, and more. The result is brand loyalty, nonprofit enthusiasm and celebrity buzz – all while raising serious money for causes.”
Andy will be donating several pieces from his closet including: items he wore on stage and original Black Veil Brides shirts and hoodies. His charity chosen to donate to is Running Wild In the Night, founded by Nikki Sixx (bassist of Motley Crue). This charity is dedicated to helping at-risk and underprivelaged youth learn and create music. It is a part of a fundraising initiative for Covenant House California. The non-profit reaches out of at-risk, homeless youth on the streets and offers them the opportunities to turn their lives around and gain hope for the future.
“Growing up I felt a strong and unrelenting connection to music, I was fortunate to have heroes to look up to like Nikki Sixx that inspired me and gave me a constant drive to never give up” says Andy about Running Wild in the Night. “Today I am proud to be able to call Nikki a friend and advisor. His work with his charity ‘Running Wild in the Night’ helps give underprivileged youth a chance to learn and create music and is something I am more than proud to be able to support.”
By Andy’s side is Juliet, aiding Big Cat Rescue. She will be donating items worn during Warped Tour, a performance of the National Anthem and her finale performance on The Voice. Big Cat Rescue is the largest accredited sanctuary for big cats exclusively. It houses over 100 lions, tigers, bobcats, cougars and various other species of large cat. Most of these rescues have been abandoned, abused, orphaned, saved from poachers/skinners and retired from performing acts. There are two parts to their mission. The first is to give the best care they can to the animals already in residence, and second, to educate the public in order to end abuse and avoid extinction.
“With the release of my latest single Wild Child it felt so natural for me to benefit Big Cat Rescue” says Juliet. “It is so important for me to help provide the best home for these exotic animals, help support these cats and help put an end to the abuse.”

Upon exploration of the Rocklahoma website it has been realized that Black Veil Brides may not be on the show anymore. The band name seems to be missing from the Rocklahoma lineup page and the date is missing from the tour dates page on the Black Veil Brides facebook and official website. The day we’ve been waiting for is here!!! I’ve got mine. Do you have yours?
In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, today is the release date for Wretched and Divine: the Story of the Wild Ones. It hits stores EVERYWHERE!! Hot Topic and Best Buy are for sure selling the Deluxe album which comes with all songs and a DVD that gives great insight to the inner workings of the brains that make up BVB and how this album went from an idea to music running through your headphones. iTunes is selling the album for $9.99, with no extra flashy stuff, for those of you that just want the music and no actual hard copy.
The album, itself, contains 19 songs. These tell the story of the Wild Ones which has been also made into a full length movie called Legion of the Black (out sometime in July, I believe). It features other artists such as Juliet Simms of Automatic Loveletter (and Andy’s lady), Bert McCracken of the Used and William Control of Aiden and self-named side project. It also contains artwork by Richard Villa, who has been featured on past albums, and was produced by John Feldmann.
Go get yours today! Us, here at BVBArmyHQ, have been relaxing around the house already enjoying the CD and behind-the-scenes DVD. We look forward to when you’ll join us and know the awesomeness of Wretched and Divine: the Story of the Wild Ones.
